Message from the President

Presidente BNV Costa Rica

The 53rd General Assembly and Annual Meeting of the FIAB represents a valuable opportunity to further strengthen the bonds between Ibero-American exchanges and markets."

As hosts of the 53rd General Assembly and Annual Meeting of the Ibero-American Federation of Stock Exchanges (FIAB) in 2026, the National Stock Exchange Financial Group will be honored to welcome you to these events. In the past, these meetings have been distinguished as forums for dialogue, reflection, and cooperation among the stock exchanges of the Ibero-American region. They have provided a space where all member exchanges and markets have exchanged experiences and knowledge, which have undoubtedly contributed to the development of all our organizations. It is our hope that the same will occur at this year's meetings.

Hosting this event in our country in 2026 also holds special significance for our Stock Exchange: these activities will be part of the commemoration of the National Stock Exchange's fiftieth anniversary. Therefore, we will welcome the attendees of the FIAB Assembly and Annual Meeting, proud of the service we have provided over the past half-century to the progress of the Costa Rican stock market and, consequently, to the strengthening and evolution of the national financial system and our society. We also hope to have contributed our share to the progress of the region's markets and to continue doing so in the future.

Together with the FIAB Secretariat, we have put forth our best effort to ensure that the 2026 edition of the FIAB Assembly and Annual Meeting, like those that have preceded them, will be a valuable opportunity to further strengthen ties between Ibero-American stock exchanges and markets, both professionally and personally.

Therefore, we extend to you a warm welcome to Costa Rica and look forward to seeing you on September 16, 17 and 18, 2026, at the meeting venue, the InterContinental Hotel in San José, hoping that you will make the most of the meetings and your stay in our country.

Yours sincerely,

Presidente BNV Costa Rica

Rodrigo Bolaños Zamora
